Supplier Code of Conduct

1.1. Lawful dealing.

Operate lawfully, with the licenses and registrations your trade requires. Pay what the law requires, at official rates, against receipts — and nothing else. We do not pay, and will not be asked to pay, outside the official system; a counterparty that asks loses our business.

2.2. Honest goods.

Sell what you declare: the species, the grade, the origin, the crop year. No blending across species (for gum: single-species lots — we test by polarimetry), no adulteration, no misdeclared origin.

3.3. People.

No forced labor. No worker under 18. Fair pay for hired labor. Safe conditions in your own operations.

4.4. Weights and scales.

First weighing happens at the market scale; weights are recorded honestly. Short-weighting ends the relationship.

5.5. Trees and land.

For gum from the wild acacia forests: tap living trees within the seasonal cycle; no felling for gum, no buying from cleared land.

6.6. Cooperation.

Keep the records your role in the chain generates, make them available to us on request, and cooperate with inspections and audits we or our customers arrange.

7.7. Consequences.

We correct problems with counterparties where correction is honest and possible; we end relationships where it is not.
