Proseeds World was founded in 2018 by people who grew up in Sudan's crop trade and set out to do one thing better than anyone: get Africa's finest commodities from the producing markets to demanding manufacturers with nothing lost on the way — not quality, not time, not the truth about where it came from.
Our story
Every serious buyer of gum arabic, sesame or hibiscus has learned the same lesson: the further you buy from the source, the less you know about what you are buying. Consolidators blend lots. Re-exporters relabel origins. Paperwork gets assembled far from the field by people who never saw the crop. The price goes up with each hand it passes through; the knowledge goes down.
We started Proseeds World in 2018 to give manufacturers a different kind of supplier — one that stands at the market scale when the crop is weighed, prepares it in facilities it owns, and ships it under its own name with records that hold up. Our people buy in Gadarif, Kordofan and El Rahad. Our cleaning warehouses in El Obeid, Kosti, Khartoum and Port Sudan and our factory in Khartoum do the sorting, grading and packing. Our office in Dubai contracts and ships at international speed.
The result is simple to state and hard to copy: the crop as it truly is, the grade as it was agreed, the shipment when it was promised — and a supplier who can answer "where exactly does this come from?" with records instead of reassurances. Sudan is where we began and where our roots are; the model is built to travel to any origin where the crop is best.
