Sudan is exporting about 14% of the world peanuts production and is considered as the fourth country in the world exporting peanuts after the USA. Also, Sudan is measured as the greatest producer of the crop in Arabian and African globe.

The general specifications of the Sudanese peanuts as follow:

· Aflatoxin : 30 PPB Max

· Damages and splits: 3% Max

· Foreign matter: 1% Max

· Moisture : 7 % Max

· Solit Seeds : 3% Max

· Humidity: 5% Max

· Oil Content : 44% to 48% Min

Packing and Export

Packing is done in 50 KG jute bags or 25 KG PP bags, and the kernel type is exported in 20 feet containers which will carry 17 metric tons. The in shell is packed in 40 feet containers which will carry 18 metric tons.
